Privacy

Panic Reset is designed to work without accounts or personal profiles.

This page explains what the site does and does not collect. The short version: the moving-dot tool runs in your browser, custom images are processed locally, and no Panic Reset account is created.

Image upload and local processing

The home page lets you choose or drop an image to replace the default moving dot. That image is read by your browser and drawn onto the page canvas. Panic Reset does not intentionally upload that image to a Panic Reset server, store it in a Panic Reset database, or make it public.

Because the image feature uses normal browser file APIs, the file stays on your device unless your browser, operating system, extension, screen recorder, or network environment does something outside Panic Reset's control. Avoid using private, identifying, or sensitive images if you are on a shared device or screen.

Server logs and hosting

Panic Reset is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and static assets. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time, and basic security telemetry to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and operate its network. Panic Reset does not use that information to create user accounts.

Advertising and third parties

The site includes Google AdSense code for advertising and site review. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies depending on your region, browser settings, consent choices, and Google's policies. Panic Reset does not control Google's advertising systems.

You can manage browser cookies, use privacy controls in your browser, or review Google's advertising privacy information if you want more control over ad personalization.

What you should not send

Do not send medical records, emergency messages, therapy notes, or crisis details through the site. The contact address is for ordinary site questions and corrections. It is not monitored as a crisis service and should not be used for urgent help.

Children and sensitive use

Panic Reset is a general public website, not a service built to knowingly collect information from children. If a young person uses the tool, a parent, guardian, school counselor, clinician, or other trusted adult should decide whether it is appropriate for that person.
